Hours/Pay Period: 80
Weekend Rotation: Minimum of 1 Sat/Sun shift per quarter

Have a love for the geriatric population and want to make a difference? Our 108-bed skilled nursing facility is looking for an additional full time Physical Therapist to join our team!
The Physical Therapist role is a professional who administers physical therapy care within the scope of the Physical Therapy Practice Act. The Therapist assumes responsibility and accountability for residents through the process of evaluation, ongoing assessment, planning and implementation of therapy interventions. This role is a vital member of the interdisciplinary team that provides the necessary care and services to attain or maintain the highest physical, mental, and psycho social well-being, consistent with the resident's assessment and plan of care.
Qualifications:
Graduate of American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved program of Physical Therapy and currently licensed or license pending in the state of Minnesota. New Grads Welcome!
Excellent verbal and written communication skillset required. Must be able to communicate with tact and professionalism.
Demonstrates good clinical judgment and critical thinking in the implementation of resident care.
Current BLS certification required.
Must be in acceptable physical and emotional health.
Have a passion for working with the geriatric population.
Strong computer skillset required. This role will document resident care plan in EMR (electronic medical record).
Schedule
This position is scheduled day hours, 80-hours per 2-week pay period.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
